Eadlin is an exclusive beauty salon in London who specialise in hair, makeup and various body treatments. After going through a change of ownership and name (from Christines to Eadlin), the new directors decided that they wanted to refresh their brand and ensure they were giving the right image to their wealthy clients.

We initially visited Eadlin at their premises in London to identify their requirements and agree on the right package of services. Eadlin decided that a complete rebranding package would be the best option to give them a fresh and modern look which included the following:

  • Logo design
  • Typography
  • Colour palette
  • Website design
  • Business Cards

During our design consultation, the first thing we did was to establish their target audience which is crucial for any branding exercise. The clientele who visit Eadlin tend to be wealthy women who live in the local area of Fulham so the key characteristics of the design needed to be elegant, sophisticated and feminine.


We suggested changing the website from a dark-theme to a light-theme because from our experience and research, light coloured websites are much more appealing and engaging. We then gave the website a complete refresh using a pastel pink colour scheme highlighted with gold accents and clean black typography which was supported with a variety of professional high resolution photographs. We also paid special attention to the gold buttons in the new design which were created using a gradient effect to give the metallic appearance.

Designing the logo was another important element of the rebranding. The original logo was a little dated, cluttered and difficult to read so we agreed upon a more modern design which was bold, clean and simple.

The process for developing a new logo takes time and we will usually create many different prototypes before finalising the design. The images below demonstrate the creative process that we went through for Eadlin and although the finished logo is a simple design, it shows the amount of thought and effort which is required. The vast majority of the biggest and well-known logos use simple designs and for good reason; because they are easy to recognise and remember.

A new feature that we created for the website was an online shop. We always offer the best security for all our websites as standard using HTTPS and SSL protocols to keep our clients and their customers 100% safe (look for the padlock next to the website URL).

This is especially important for websites containing shopping functionality and therefore we also provide digital security certificates for all e-commerce websites as standard.

When creating the online shop for Eadlin the main aim was to keep it very simple and easy to use for customers while making it look completely integrated into the overall website design.

The online shop has been integrated seamlessly to the website making it an effortless shopping experience for their customers and bringing in more sales opportunities for the business.


We were asked to carry out a complete rebranding exercise for Eadlin following their change of ownership and business name. This included their logo, colour palette, typography and a complete redesign of their website including a new online shop facility.

The new brand and website has really transformed the look and feel of the entire business to give it a modern, light and fresh appearance which is more congruent with their company values.

We received very positive feedback from the new directors at Eadlin, who are delighted at the end result and we will continue to work with them in the future to provide ongoing support for the website including hosting, monitoring traffic and making any updates as required. Eadlin have also asked us to help with their digital marketing strategy to increase their salon appointments and product sales.
